Next morning Selphie tells you that their first mission as members of SeeD is at a place called Timber and you should go in plain clothes. Make your way to the front gate of the Garden, don't forget to save your game if you feel the need. At the front, push open the red panel and you will see Cid with a Garden Faculty and Selphie. Notice that everyone has changed into their own personal clothes, a standard practice for SeeD members. Cid will brief you all on the mission that lies ahead; to assist the resistance in Timber. Simply go to the item menu and click on the newly gained lantern to defeat him. Now exit from Garden and you are back on the World Map.

After the epic dance scene Squall is just enjoying his party in that way that anti-social people enjoy big social events by hanging out far, far away from it. Yeah right. Regardless of her intentions, this is a great opportunity for you, the player, to fight some new monsters and pick up several new spells. Go to the bed and "Get Changed", then leave the room. Take a second to save your game. Head out of the dorms back towards the atrium.

It was developed for the PlayStation and it had the same graphics capabilities yet it featured much more realistic graphics when compared to the more cartoonish appearances of characters in Final Fantasy VII. Production for the game began in and it took two years to complete before being released in The game follows the story of Squall and his team as they quest to stop a sorceress from the future named Ultimecia from compressing time. The game uses a system of summons similar to previous Final Fantasy games which are referred to as Guardian Forces. In addition to being a source of some of the most lethal attacks, Guardian Forces also provide the ability to junction magics to specific stats and abilities allowing characters to grow. Unlike many of the other games in the series, the cast of characters were designed to appear more realistic. It differed just enough from its predecessor to make it a unique and enjoyable game without straying far enough from the FF formula to lose many of the nostalgic elements that fans of the series were hoping to see.

Final Fantasy VIII - Walkthrough Part 1

As a heads up, expect spoilers, as I am incapable of writing spoiler-free guides. Hey there! I noticed there were quite a few walkthroughs listed for VIII, albeit the majority are In Progress , which is why I thought I'd start my own - yep, with that elusive Complete glowing green sticker of success. If you don't like this walkthrough ouch , I recommend you check out Drake 's walkthrough or Super Sephiroth 's. Admittedly, I am no huge fan of FFVIII myself, but I like a challenge: and what's a challenge if it's not writing a guide for a somewhat sub-par title?
