The story sounds like a familiar indie tale following a young Portland boy dealing with the absence of his father. Likely he forms some kind of friendship or romance with Moretz. Michael Johnson wrote the film and will make his directorial debut for the project produced by Super Crispy, the company behind the Sundance selected films Nobody Walks with Olivia Thirlby and Smashed with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. As a sucker for coming of age tales, I'm already very excited about this film.
