There are not many cards that Chain Strike Burn players actually fear in a tournament match. Des Wombat , while the seemingly obvious answer to a ton of direct damage cards, is fragile. It can be disposed of by a main-deck Ring of Destruction , and easily run over by a possible side-deck Cyber Dragon. Chain Burst is another deceptive, skill-testing card that looks like an answer to a Chain Strike Burn combo. However, this continuous trap does not actually stop your opponent from activating his or her trap cards. You need to set it on your field on turn 1 for it to be any use. Aside from that, if a Chain Strike Burn player really needs to play his or her traps, but is low on life, copies of Poison of the Old Man can always add life points in order to flip that game-ending damage Just Desserts.

I am the hipster of burn decks. I have been playing them for many years, and now that they have the ability to top, I am no longer interested in them. Therefore, I have been attempting to move back to aggressive builds which has been difficult considering the last time I played a deck that involves attacking was when Tele-DAD was popular. Since I have chosen to disgrace my fellow Burn deck players by swearing only to play aggressive decks, I figured I would take the betrayal to another level and tell you exactly what you need to know when your fate depends on beating your opponent down before they light you on fire, figuratively speaking. A good Chain Burn deck needs to be able to clear their back row as quickly as possible.
Forum:How good is this chain strike burn deck?
It stems from an idea I had with a friend from the Chicken Game format, where we were allowing our opponent to kill themselves to draw cards with Chicken Game and use Fairy Wind to deal damage and clear it away at the same time. Tour Guide is a one card Nightmare Shark for ending games. - While "Chain Strike" is certainly part of the Deck's strategy it doesn't rely on it completely.
