Not like a 9mm has much recoil in the first place, but when placed into the LRC-2 kit, the only thing I had to get used to was the added weight. The assembly process to kick off the LRC-2 is a bit of a trip. It starts by taking a regular semi-automatic Strike One AF-1 pistol and then inserting it into a larger kit with an in-line barrel and a locking system to flush it up with its bigger components. The AF-1 Strike One has an extremely smooth trigger action and almost no jump. When inside the LRC-2, it seriously becomes a whole different sort of monster. This is one of those ideal platforms for moving room to room in a house or about the property.

The flexibility and enhanced performance of the Strike Auto are also clearly seen in the LRC-2 Long Range Conversion system, offering real extended range through the implementation of a mm 12 inch barrel in the kit. The Company's rebranding — for the US market only — is due to a potential trademark problem. The issue does not affect the EU market, where the brand name will remain the same. This new polymer pistol from Arsenal Firearms is about to be released on the German market. It is the new and improved successor to the Strike One. This time, Arsenal collaborated with industrialization partner RUAG to develop the firearm and make it market-ready.

The LRC-2 chassis also features wide venting holes, ensuring good cooling capabilities even during rapid fire, and two short MIL-STD " Picatinny" rail at 3'o-clock and 9'o-clock positions, allowing the attachment of laser sights, tactical flashlights, and other similar accessories. A full-lenght Picatinny rail is located on the top portion of the chassis, providing an interface point for back-up folding or fixed iron sights, optical sights and other optics or electro-optics such as night sights, long-range sights, red-dot collimators, and many more. In addition of making the AF-1 Strike One more stable and capable of longer-range hits, the LRC-2 system provides additional capabilities thanks to its sidefolding stock, hinged at the rear end of the chassis. Two different side-folding stock options are available: a non-adjustable, perforated metal stock and an M4-style folding and adjustable buttstock. Several options are currently being evaluated to allow the LRC-2 kit to be sold in those Countries or jurisdictions where the availability or the use of such an item would otherwise be restricted by statute, such as the United States. In those Countries, the LRC-2 kit will probably be sold without a stock, or with a stabilizing brace in lieu of it; a decision will be taken in the months to come.

The Arsenal Firearms "Strike One" is a polymer or Ergal - framed , short recoil operated, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol introduced by the company Arsenal Firearms in Unlike the Browning system, the barrel does not tilt.
